Macau Satellite TV（Hangzhou）On the afternoon of December 10, 2022 Beijing Time, the “3rd World Association President Conference (2022) and the 13th West Lake Public Relations Forum” was opened in the International Hall of the Great Hall of the People in Zhejiang, China. This Conference was a series of activities of the 1st Global Digital Trade Expo, the only national and global professional expo with the theme of digital trade approved by the CPC Central Committee and the State Council in China, which was co-sponsored by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, China Chamber of International Commerce, Hangzhou Municipal People's Government and Global Alliance of Small and Medium Enterprises, supported by the China International Public Relations Association, and undertaken by Hangzhou Public Relations Association, and jointly organized by hundreds of social organizations at home and aboard.
This Conference was with the theme of “Building a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind in the Digital Context: Missions and Responsibilities of Social Organizations”, and was held in the form of “Main venue Sub-venue” and “Online Offline”. The main venue was located in Hangzhou, China, covering 10 provinces (municipalities) and autonomous regions in China, including Guangdong, Guizhou, Hainan, Fujian, Jiangsu, Xinjiang, Chongqing, Jilin, Inner Mongolia and Hubei. And there were 21 sub-venues was set in 11 countries including the US, the UK, Russia, Spain, New Zealand, Australia, the United Arab Emirates, South Korea, Indonesia, Singapore and South Africa.

Wan Gang, Vice Chairman of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Chairman of the China Association for Science and Technology, attended the conference by video and delivered an important speech. He hoped that all kinds of organizations and chambers of commerce and associations would strive to become a bridge connecting the government and enterprises closely, take the promotion of trade and investment as the main task, promote the effective collaboration between the government, society and enterprises, promote cooperation in industrial chain, supply chain and value chain, promote the flow of talents, projects and funds, continue to accelerate the systematic reform of science, technology and industry, and jointly foster new growth drivers for global development.

Christian Wulff, winner of the China Government Friendship Award 2022, former President of Germany and Global President of the Global Alliance of Small and Medium Enterprises, and Ban Ki-moon, the 8th Secretary-General of the united Nations and Chairman of the Boao Forum for Asia, delivered video speeches successively, fully affirming the World Association President Conference as an important communication platform, fully affirming the import role of social organizations in participating in global social governance and promoting the building of a community with a shared future for mankind, pointing out that the G20 Hangzhou Summit had greatly increased the international reputation of Hangzhou, and hoping that they could come to Hangzhou next year to watch the Asian Games.

At the beginning of the conference, Sun Xudong, Deputy mayor of Hangzhou Municipal People's Government, first delivered a welcoming speech. Li Xikui, Vice Chairman of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries; Yu Jianlong, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade; Zhou Guohui, Vice Chairman of the Zhejiang Provincial CPPCC; Ms. Signe Brudeset, Ambassador of Norway to China; Palitha Kohona, Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to China; Yang Chunguang, Chairman of the China Association for the Promotion of International Economic and Technological Cooperation and former Deputy Director General of the National Civil Service Administration; Kovalenok Dmitry, Minister Counsellor of the Belarusian Embassy in China; Qadir Ghulam, Commercial Counsellor of the Pakistani Embassy in China delivered speeches respectively. Mr. Zhao Dali, Executive Vice President and Secretary-General of the China International Public Relations Association, delivered a video speech on behalf of Ambassador Wu hongbo, Special Representative of the Chinese Government for European Affairs, President of the China International Public Relations Association and former Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, warmly congratulating the opening of the conference and fully affirming the role of the conference.

The World Association President Conference had been successfully held for three sessions since 2020, with a total of about 1.2 million people participating in interactive discussions online and offline, triggering strong responses at home and aboard. In order to jointly address various challenges, explore new paths of inclusive development, and inject positive impetus into world economic growth, it is necessary for the Chambers of Commerce, as one of the three cornerstones of the market economy, to explore and strengthen extensive and institutional cooperation among the Chamber of Commerce associations of the world.

According to the report, this Conference was intended to actively respond to the profound changes in the current domestic and international economic and security situation, help China to strengthen international development and cooperation, promote the global digital trade, and build a community of human destiny. Hangzhou Public Relations Association, the organizer of the Conference, had signed the Strategic Cooperation Memorandum for Co-building the World Association President Conference with more than 30 social organizations from five continents, including the Global Alliance of Small and Medium Enterprises, Spanish Association for Cultural and Art Exchange between China and the West, New Zealand Federation of Overseas Chinese, American Chamber of Commerce for Overseas Chinese Importers and Exporters, Singapore Federation of Asian Young Leaders, Northeast Chamber of Commerce of the United Arab Emirates, and Korean Federation of Overseas Chinese. Liu Jiang, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the World Association President Conference attended the offline signing ceremony.
Ten well-known presidents of provincial-level chamber of commerce in Zhejiang pressed the start button for the launch ceremony of the digital intelligent application platform of the “World Chamber of Commerce”. 20 domestic and overseas presidents jointly read the World Association President (Hangzhou) Conference Initiative. The Conference also published the “top travel destination in 2023” recommended by the Organizing Committee in writing. China Post issued the First Day Cover of the 3rd (2022) World Association President Conference.
The Conference also held parallel sub-forums such as the “Round-table Conference of Chairman of Digital Specialized New Enterprise and International President”. The Conference was strongly supported and actively undertaken by all executive vice president organizations and vice president organizations of the Hangzhou Public Relations Association.
